About the Authors:
Dr. David Samuel spent 30 years as a professor of wildlife management at West Virginia University. Dr. Samuel has also been an outdoor writer for 38 years, with over 500 articles and columns appearing in a number of publications.

Bob Zaiglin serves as coordinator of the wildlife management program at Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas. He is also the owner of Zaiglin's Wildlife Resource Management, a consulting firm for the discriminating land steward.
