NO MORE GUESSING - SEE EXACTLY WHERE YOUR SHOT HIT!

Seasoned deer hunters know it is imperative to know where their arrow or bullet struck before taking up the trail of any whitetail. For the first time ever, D&DH's Shot Simulator allows you to take as many "do overs" as needed to get that information! In this state-of-the-art animated program, you can position the deer exactly as it was when you were hunting, "take the shot," and then learn exactly which organs were hit. Position yourself from tree-stand height or ground-blind level and position the deer at any angle. After the shot, click on the navigation bars to peel away the hide, skin and bones to see which organs were hit. Then, use our instant trailing guide to help you decide what your next move should be. Wait 30 minutes … or wait 10 hours? We will provide you the best course of action!

Whether you've yet to harvest a whitetail or have taken more than 100 in your lifetime, this animated program is a must-have for any deer hunting camp!

Editorial Reviews:
"I purchased an amazing piece of software today. It is called the Shot Simulator and it is sold by Deer & Deer Hunting...I don't believe I have ever seen their show and I don't remember buying anything from them before. So, this is not a advertisement for them. I am very impressed by this piece of software."
..."Everything is rendered nicely. The beauty of the program is not in the graphics. It is in the ability to shoot the deer and see what vitals were hit... This program is a simple, inexpensive tool that I think every new hunter should use. I think it would benefit even an experienced hunter."

Okay, but needs height and distance markers Review by Sheetrock
Rating

This program needs to have a distance to deer and tree stand height indicator as well. For example, when I zoom out as far as possible and I "climb" as high as possible in the program, am I at a 45 degree angle (20 feet away, 20 feet high). Basically I need to know the angle. If the creator of the software knows this answer please let the audience know. I guess if you can give the extremes (max distance and max elevation), that would help immensely.

tradwalker Review by adam

i think this is a brilliant program. it is so easy to test different scenarios and even question past hunt. it was well worth the money i payed to download it. you can change the shot angle, zoom in and out, and the shot info gives information about the proper course of action and the type of blood to expect

Shot Simulator Review by Country Jack Griffes

The Shot Simulator has helped my youngest computer savvy kids learn where to aim from various angles. They did tire of it quickly however. I think the Shot Simulator could be vastly improved via showing potential deer reactions to each type of hit and including actual photographs of the type of blood sign left by each type of hit. That might also help hold the pupils attention longer.

Wow Review by Lamar Lee

This might be the coolest hunting tool ever devised. For the first time, I can actually see what my arrow does in different situations. A must-have for any deer hunter.

Great for kids Review by Jason Bleachers

I really liked this animation for showing the young kids we brought to camp where to aim. We had them guess and then showed them where they hit. Great job DDH!

Disappointed with the shot simulator Review by Rodney Albright

I hope I don't offend anyone here but i would care to see a lot more done to this simulator. You can get the angle of your shots and peeling the skin back does help. But it would have been better if the animal would run off so you can see what it means to check the blood chart to see how long to wait before you start tracking a wounded animal. So i was very disappointed. For the cost of 30 bucks it wasn't worth it. Sorry but THE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE TOLD.

Deerhunter Review by Anthony Peters

computer, whoe needs them lets just hunt. Take good shots and follow to the end. You will harvest game the old fashioned way. Hard work, dedication and luck

Nice but... Review by KevBro

I can't rate what I haven't tried but for 30 bucks (pun intended) I don't see any need for this software anytime soon.
